Done in 60 Seconds #2

The life of a photo assistant is never dull, working in both the studio and on location makes everyday a completely new and different experience. And during my 10 years of working as one, I often sat in the set for the test polaroids while the lighting was tuned in.  Well, I never left a Polaroid laying around if it had my image on it and so I have a very interesting collection of myself captured in a wide variety of sets and situations.  And so this is the place that I will post one or two of them until my stash runs out. Enjoy, laugh and make fun of them if you must. Just remember to tell me when 60 seconds are up!

This is a self-portrait from way back in fall of 1991, taken during the first few weeks of working for Mark Gooch as an assistant. More than likely, I was supposed to be doing something else, judging by the fact I’m wearing a darkroom lab coat. Polaroid Type 664, complete with water and/or chemical stains.

I’ll have a full post up by the weekend!

You’re welcome……
